A new installation should work. Pls help as I dont want to throw the optix XR away and get a new one. I wonder if you can install it within XPMode? My colorimiter is the DPT94 version. The one time I did not say yes it just crashes again.

Pls help as I dont want to throw the optix XR away and get a xxr one. Next I tried plugging it into a powered USB hub. I just got a new windows 7 64 bit laptop.
Then when I log back in, the computer asks if it should try and fix the problem that caused the crash and if I say yes it avoids the blue screen.

I installed the v driver from the X-Rite site which drives the same puck under Vista in another X-Rite colorimeter. Using Monaco XR with W You will need to either install or update drivers depending on which button is available. Konaco needed still can be found at the X-Rite website. Click on update driver 7. Bob, It is good and bad to see that I am not alone. The ColorEyes techs stated they use the drivers supplied by X-Rite and those drivers have not been updated for Windows 7. Highlight the DTP94 device then choose have disk. Thanks for your comments. As you point out this colorimeter is no longer supported so installing it under W was a real effort. My colorimiter is the DPT94 version. If yes then at the next stage when it says adjust your brightness, mojaco will I bring back the backlight in relation to the usual brightness? The xrite website says that their software will not work with 64 bit versions of vista or Windows 7, so I am surprised you got it to work okay.

The same thing with any old Optix XR driver. The best wjndows bargains of Start coloreyes; the sensor should be active. Make sure you place a check mark in the box next to Show extracted files when complete.
