It seems no one has produced a driver for dxx8450 printer yet that will work with Linux I think I will just try each of the other drivers in turn until I find one that works. Just starting out and have a question? This is what happened in the terminal I have some problems using XSane, because it gets stuck or makes partial scans, but GIMP image editor is perfect and fast.

Had a hard time trying to find the pipslite-cups file that was supposed to be the fix for this printer, finally gave up and just used the cx driver, don’t know if it will scan or not but if I need to scan and I can’t, I ‘ll just use the software built into the printer.
There does not seem to be a dedicated driver for my printer, but by trial and error I eventually found the Linux driver for the DX works. August 20th, 5. Local authentication certificate not found! Then you can add the repository listed in “Using apt-get” and install the software.
