Such that green is inyel, orange is Base-T, and yellow is Base-T and all of that is dependent on the Ethernet side of your modem? I have a Dimension sitting right next to the Optiplex, and lights are both green.
They Ethernet was supposedly integrated into the Motherboard and I had spent way to much time on it, so I’m buying an Ethernet card and installing it.
If you chose one device that you can not manually configure go to another one and try that.

I have the same issue. Thanks for the info, though! As for the Opriplex these 2 Gigabit Drivers listed are both Intel Drivers and these two should be with most versions of XP so what is being shown in the Device Manager here for these items?
