Crap I might have put this in the wrong section. The brilliant people at MS didn’t even put in some of the common drivers into the Vista disc. What I want to know is, does anyone else have this problem? It works fine in with the latest XP drivers, so saga must’ve broken it between then and now.
These chipsets and raid controllers are very common. Vista refuses to identify the RAID controller.
The brilliant people at MS didn’t even put in some of the common drivers into the Vista disc. Clear the CMOS read the book, some require power to be removed from system and jumper moved.

Tried doing an import foreign disk in disk management? That is the reason I was surprised that Vista didn’t have these drivers. Wed Dec 13, 4: At least that’s what you could do in WinXP.
